Through the past glibly :

Having had some success with my band 'Montage' in Adelaide, Australia which included local concert, radio and TV appearances,
I decided to inflict my particular style of guitar playing on an unsuspecting (and even now largely unaware) British public.

After a 3 month stay in Holland (birthplace of my parents) I landed in the UK with my plan to conquer all. I met my now longtime buddy Paul Bensley (Benz) and we set about trying to avoid playing anything the general public could possibly relate to. A sort of 'Emerson, Lake and Palmer'/punk hybrid evolved, the merits of which were heavily disguised by my early vocals (my Adelaide bands had sported real singers). We played in all the worst pubs for no money but we had a great time.

Several morphings of the band evolved over the next few years until we ended up a sort of funk/pop outfit called 'State of the Art' with a black female vocalist. This band got as far as demoing for EMI at Abbey Road. While there I played every piano I could find just so I'd tinkled
the same keys as Paul McCartney.

During this time I played guitar on various demos and albums, everything from cabaret to thrash. After a brief stint back as the front man with an AOR band called 'Cruise', I met Jan.
What followed is precised on the About page.

I also guested on several albums for 'The Times', a cult London band on the Creation label. Check out the discography on main man Ed Ball's Creation page. Eventually Jan became involved and we performed with them at Creation's 10th anniversary party at the Albert Hall plus a few appearances on Gary Crowley's TV programme.
